Selkirk	My Scottish research centres around the Border area of Scotland, mainly Selkirk where my TURNBULL family emigrated from in the 1920s. They came to New Zealand on the RMS Orsova and farmed briefly in Te Awamutu before going to Parnell in Auckland to live.					RMS Orsova

Richard TURNBULL b c1850 Selkirk Scotland. married Sophia BINNIE - Dunsdalehaugh, Selkirk, Scotland. Daughter Mary Stoddart TURNBULL born 25th March 1896 at 10 Dunsdalehaugh, Selkirk,Scotland. They also had two sons Thomas Turnbull who was killed at the Somme Sat 7th October 1916 aged 22 and Peter Turnbull who died in Egypt Mon 9th July 1917 aged 34. I am also interested in the names HOGG, BINNIE and HENDERSON, all from the Border areas.
